Riverwalk Chesapeake VA - neighborhood in Chesapeake Virginia is an upscale pre-planned community. It is composed or several villages or sub-subdivisions each with its unique flavor and Style. There are still a few homes from before the pre-planned community was built, bur otherwise the community started and homes began being built in the 1980's. The community appears to be a gated community but there is no gate.
There is a club house alongside the pool, tennis courts and kid's park. The city of Chesapeake Parks and Recreation Department has a Community Center at one of the entrances to the neighborhood. This community center has a gym, basketball court, pool table and other amenities. Also by another of it's 
entrances there is a Sentara health Center.
Riverwalk Chesapeake VA- Neighborhood Information - Homes for Sale is located South of Great Bridge Blvd and North of the Elizabeth river withing minutes to the high way. You can be in downtown Norfolk within 15 minutes and the North Carolina border within 20 minutes.
On the Elizabeth river there is a private boat launch, sheltered Pavilion, pier and enough parking spaces for the neighborhood.
There are many styles of homes in the Riverwalk neighborhood from condos to waterfront mansions. There are Homewoner association fees that pay to keep this neighborhood looking like new.
