Once again is time for the Virginia Chesapeake Jubilee. In it’s 26th year, this local festival is one that my Hampton Roads family and neighbors look forward to. The Jubilee celebrates Chesapeake’s birthday. Chesapeake was born in 1963 when, Norfolk Virginia, county and the city of South Norfolk merged to create Chesapeake.
The events are held thanks to the help of volunteers, city staff, community groups, and police, fire and sheriff’s departments.

The Chesapeake Jubilee is held at one of the parks in Chesapeake Virginia: The Chesapeake City Park, located in Greenbrier Chesapeake.
500 Greenbrier Parkway.
The Chesapeake Jubilee is a favorite for locals as it has Music, entertainment, rides, fireworks, country fair, (that was my kids favorite when they were little) Crafts, Shrimp Feast, Corn hole and Food, barbecue competition and much more. Here are a few high lights.
