About me

As a results-oriented professional, I balance aggressive strategies, market knowledge and negotiating expertise with a high level of integrity to satisfy each and every customer. A high percentage of my business is referral and repeat business from satisfied customers and clients. My commitment to achieving the results that you desire is paramount to me because I want to be your real estate agent for many years to come.  I place a high value on my relationships with clients, and have been very fortunate to have clients become friends.

More about me

I started working in real estate 20 years ago, when I ended up upside down on the purchase of my first home. (Sound familiar?) This became my first rental, since then I have managed, bought and sold many homes. I became a full time investor in 2002 after my youngest child went to Kinder Garden. I have been a full time real estate agent since 2006.  I love first time home buyers, high end homes and all homes in between.  I am very familiar with Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Portsmouth.  I have helped many families relocate to Hampton Roads.

I was born in Colombia, South America and have lived in this beautiful country for the past 23 years.  My husband retired from the Navy and we chose this location for its people, weather, schools, the beach and so much more.

About Hampton Roads

Hampton Roads is the name of both a body of water and the region of land areas which surround it in southeastern Virginia in the USA. Hampton Roads is notable for its year-round ice-free harbor, for United States Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, NASA, Marines, and Army facilities, shipyards, coal piers, and hundreds of miles of waterfront property and beaches, all of which contribute to the diversity and stability of the region's economy.  It is comprised by the cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Newport News, Hampton and Williamsburg.

Local History by Date

On April 10 1606, two companies were authorized to be created by King James for the purpose of settlement of Virginia.  Virginia was defined as the land between the 34th and 45th degrees of North Latitude from the Cape Fear River in North Carolina to Passamaquoddy By in Main. The Plymouth company would settle the northern region and the London Company, the southern region.

On May 13, 1607 representative of the London company and their band of settlers began a settlement on the river they named James at a place they called Jamestown.

And so it goes the story.  I will continue to update this history by year as time permits.
